Consoles also allow you to move the save file to a flash drive to back them up in case of a hard drive failure or what not. This allows people to copy the save file and put it on their computer and use a ps3/xbox save file editor program to modify the save files.
Since diablo 3 uses the save files to determine the items a player has, a person can modify the save file to add new items, or change pre-existing ones, and since the game just loads what the save file says the player has, the game doesn't do anything about the modded items. The only way this will get fixed is if Blizzard completely over hauls the game to allow for server side checks of save files when connecting to online games. Unfortunately, such an over haul would take too much time, resources, manpower, and money, and would negatively effect the pc platform and console by preventing them from working on future patches and content.
Feb 05, 2017 Code Freak's new PS4 save game editor. Your PSN level just went down the shitter. However it'll probably be awkward to use like the Exploder PS3 game save editor. Then that is shitty. Diablo 3 is largely ruined on consoles online because of all the hacked items (hacked on PS3 saves, imported into Ps4 Diablo 3).
Once this program is installing, any changes made to the PC whether they are accidental or malicious no longer have to be permanent. Deep freeze serial key 823. Deep Freeze ensures PCs are absolutely bulletproof, even when users have full access to system software and settings, which should solve a lot of the routine headaches IT departments commonly experience. This application is easy to install and operate on any computer.
Until modding negatively effects their profits, they have no incentive to fix the problem on console. Why would they if people are still buying the game? Edit: ps4->ps3, still have to import save files from ps3/360 to ps4/xbox one for it to work • • • •.
Uploading a video tutorial as i write this post right now so stayed tuned for the video link above when its finished processing this is a very simple program to use but it could use some improvements all it needs is a method to decrypt and encrypt the file without the need of bruteforce since bruteforce is an unsupported program now since its been shut down and any traces of the program removed from the internet aside from links posted by people who kept a backup of the program for personal use. Basically while we wait for the video to upload these are steps needed to use the program provided in this thread.
Step 1: Download Bruteforce and the D3Editor. Step 2 Install Bruteforce and extract the D3Editor Files to a folder on your desktop for easy access.
Step 3: Copy save from ps3 or xbox360 to a usb stick and copy it to pc. Step 4: Run Bruteforce and decrypt the save you want to modify.
(PS3 Only) Step 4: Xbox360 instructions unknown to me at time refer to beginning of thread from any xbox details. (Xbox360 ONLY) Step 5: Run DIIIEditor.exe and open the save we just decrypted. Step 6: Make edits to account data or specific character data using the built in UI the program offers you to make things nice and simple. Step 7: There is a save button from each section I would suggest saving before switching tabs to make sure things are being saved along the way through-out the modding process just to be safe Step 8: When all modifications are done don't forget to click Save-All under the file tab at top left of window. There you go you've learned the basics to using the DIIIEditor enjoy and happy modding *Note when dealing with the quests tab for characters I would suggest only adding and not subtracting adding seems to work fine within the program but subtracting more then 1 quest seems to corrupt and mess up you save so i wouldn't take any chances with removing quests only add quests if you really have to.
