Theoretically you should be able to make a model pattern then emulates the sand pattern and add horizontal lines to it in the spacing you want. Of course this requires editing the.pat file which can be quite confusing at times. This user is offline Fri, Apr 10, 2015 at 9:10:43 PM swdebenport #5 active Joined: Fri, Sep 3, 2010 0 Posts. I don't see how this is accomplished. This user is offline Thu, Apr 16, 2015 at 5:00:56 AM 2 patterns in one #8 active Joined: Tue, Jan 27, 2004 80 Posts Pijpiwo's suggestion will work just fine.
Just concatenate the numeric pattern definition portions, shown coloured, below non-numeric headings, shown uncoloured, as presented in the posted image. However not all AutoCAD patterns will work. Scale can be a problem. Some stock patterns are far too small and busy for Revit, others are far too large. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Try the sand pattern and play with the scale. Also, put it on a layer, or force a color, that plots somewhat thick.
