This was a great album. I was even as a kid very impressed with all the different styles of sounds they featured on one album (even their second album). A full chior and string set on 'Mama', the irrestistable funk of 'Last Time Lover' and r&b 'Say You'll Be There' and 'Something Kinda Funny'. The disco sounds of 'Who Do You Think You Are' and hip hop 'If You Can't Dance'.their first album is def worth a purchase! Its not perfect of course as they suffer in singing but the music and production stands out!

I think it's because of their style, which is so pink, posh, and directed so specifically that a lot of people are not going to like it. I love the Spice Girls. Songs like 'Say You'll Be There' and 'Stop' are classics. You can bet years from now when they play one of those songs on the radio, they'll be some people asking 'Hey, that song sounds really familiar, who was that?'

Is there ANYBODY that doesn't have a crush on at least one of these girls? The only bad thing I have to say about the Spice Girls is that they seem to be a corporate product, oh well.
