I was afraid of wrist pains as years of scaffolding fd up my hands badly, but holding the phone with my left and not clawing with it, will let me use my right one without pain.

The thing about claw is that you're using 4 fingers to play the game, unlike a trigger where you make use of an external component, a term that is clearly stated in the EULA (see point 2 in my post). Claw makes uses only only game resources, whereas trigger makes use of game resources + an additional component. Claw could never have been allowed by limiting number of touch points to 2, the fact that the game allows multi touch input, and touch onto multiple control areas within the game's designed interface by direct human contact differentiates it significantly from a trigger.
