Ok, I checked out the first 10 of the 30 licks, and jumped to the 30th lick. I didn't find any more serious mistakes with the notation. The tab is off in some places when you look at Mike playing the lick and comparing what he plays to the tab. I think it's safe to say the majority, if not all of them, are licks over one chord, with emphasis on dom7 chords - some licks are over G7, some are over C#7, etc. Most of the variety is in the rhythm rather than the harmony.

I have a feeling the intended audience for this course is guitarists without much of a bebop/jazz vocabulary - especially rock and blues guitarists - who want to add some sax licks to their toolbox and be able to use them right away in rock and blues jams. I think it's well done for that purpose.
